Where We Work · Riverview and South Hillsborough, FL

RIVERVIEW HYDRO JETTING SERVICE AREAS

Apartment rows in Brandon, septic lots in Gibsonton, canals in Apollo Beach and a gated community platted in 2013. The pipes change every few miles, so each page below says what we expect to find.

Riverview alone grew from 71,050 people to 107,396 in ten years, and the communities around it were built in waves that left very different plumbing behind them. A lateral laid in 1986 on dry ridge sand, one laid in 2016 on fill, and a mobile-home drain on wet bay-side ground do not clog for the same reasons. We wrote one page per place so you can see the housing, the soil and the sewer arrangement we are thinking about before we arrive.

Cities and Towns From Brandon to Ruskin

Ten places make up the wider route, from the SR-60 corridor in the north to the Little Manatee River in the south. Some are census-designated places, one is a retirement town, and one is a planned community from 1958.

Communities Around Riverview, Plat by Plat

Inside and beside Riverview we go a level deeper. County plat records give the recording year of most of these communities, and the year tells us whether to expect roots, scale or builder debris. Several sit inside community development districts, and a few are gated, so those pages also say what to arrange before a visit.

Three Questions That Change the Job

  • Sewer, septic or something in between? Hillsborough County says most of Gibsonton has no central sewer, and about 2,000 septic and 1,500 low-pressure sewer properties sit across Ruskin and Wimauma. No public list says which individual street is which, so we ask and confirm by address. On a tank we jet only the line from the house, never the drainfield. Our post on septic and low-pressure sewer in south Hillsborough explains the setups.
  • When was the house built? The Census puts the median Riverview home at 2006, Brandon at 1993 and Apollo Beach at 2010. Age decides whether a camera goes in before any pressure, and reading your camera video shows what the footage means.
  • Is it one house or the whole street? A single gurgling house is usually a job for us. Several homes backing up, or a manhole overflowing, belong to the county's Water Resources line at (813) 307-1000. The post on CDDs, HOAs and the county sorts out the gray cases.

One Price List, Every Community

Standard residential hydro jetting runs $350 to $650, a sewer camera inspection is $150 to $300, and most drain jobs fall between $125 and $350. The cost guide explains what moves a quote, and how to choose a hydro jetting company lists what a fair one includes. You see the written price before any work starts.
